TLF came from pretty damn good discussion boards. Let’s try to ensure that newbies finding their way here are able to develop the confidence from good quality initial information to see through the smoke, mirrors and bluster of The Wise.
IMO there should be a provision to introduce newbies to the basic concepts to being a Fool, Motley, Lemon or whatever. It is primarily a financial website after all. This Fool site needs them in order to prosper long term.
Why were TMF’s discussion boards considered, by some, to be waning? Was it a lack of new blood?
