A simple pudding for those with small appetites, with an Xmas flavour but without the weight... Eves Pudding, but instead of apple, use mincemeat.
Serve with brandy sauce, white sauce, custard to taste.

This year's dinner a deux was mushroom/stilton/chestnut soup with truffle oil, salmon coulibiac, shop-bought xmas pud with brandy cream, loads of nuts and cheese.
Depending on next brexit/doombug, next year's will likely be scavenged road kill and praying for a good nettle crop.
