Unfortunately it's not a situation where choices like that can be individually catered for - it's pretty much the one hot meal they're going to get that day (for some it's the last hot/proper meal till Monday). Hopefully you understand the kind of situation I am referring to and that it wasn't out of some meat loving/veggie hating conspiracy.
