Halifax Credit Card Mobile App

Hi Folks,
Does anybody else have this 'quirk'.
I start the App and enter my peices of Memorable Data it requests. It then says something like 'Looks like we have a technical problem, try again later'. I try straight away, it asks for the same peices of data, and it all works fine. I wondered if this was a 'silent security' idea to put fraudsters off. It has happened every time since I started to use the card for this 1% cashback offer.
