I have always been disappointed with the credit limits I have been given with UK credit cards. It baffles me as my credit score is high and, at least in some cases, I have large cash amounts on deposit with the same bank.

That does seem strange. Do you ever miss any monthly payments because you maybe see them as trivial and catch up the following month? Or perhaps you don't have a long history of borrowing that they use as part of their risk calculation?

Not sure that's the right question, but I bought a car in Mar '22 on an MBNA card (£30K limit), interest free for 23 months, if that helps.

In what period do purchases have to be made in order to qualify for 0%? 23 months or some shorter period?
