Albion Enterprise VCT
In the past 3 or 4 trading sessions this normal sleepy VCT has gone up by around 10%, with no announcements that I can see. Other Albion VCTs seem to have shifted little. Anyone any idea what is going on here? I hold a few, but not one of my major stakes.

Hi Vulgaris
The annual accounts came out on Friday, 29th June, showing a decent uplift in NAV to 109.46 which seems to be behind the move.

They have also upped their dividend target from 5 to 6 pence per annum- not bad these days. Part of the gain came from Radnor School which is also held by other Albion VCTs which is possibly why AAVC ticked up today. Their results are overdue.

AAVC results appeared on Investegate last week (Friday, I think). It was too hot to pay much attention.

Thanks, UncleE, ADVFN are still not showing it and Investegate seems to have passed me by on this one!
See they have ticked up another penny today.

thought it was raining down your way now - my grandson got soaked crossing Dartmoor the other night.

Friday was still hot&sunny: somewhat reminiscent of my years in central Italy.
We had some wind and heavy rain on Sunday morning (probably more than for the whole of May and June). But it still stayed hot: felt like an unventilated bathroom where someone has just had a hot bath, or like my recollection of arriving in tropical Cairns (Oz) - and the sun was back in force later in the day. Cooler, comfortable weather arrived yesterday with some (not much) rain.
