From today's Glasgow Herald:-
Glasgow private equity firm Maven Capital Partners has led a £2 million financing round for London-based peer-to-peer (P2P) lender Lending Works. The investment house was joined in the deal by English counterparts NVM Private Equity and Pollen Street Capital as well as a number of business angels. Maven put up the bulk of the cash, with other investors contributing £800,000 between them.

The article goes on to say that Maven were impressed by Lending Work's "ethical" approach to P2P lending.

Indeed , Maven mentioned this on one of the recent company reports. I suppose that there will be some interest in getting this new emerging industry.
Octopus have their offering and I have heard of others. Woodford has money in Ratesetter and p2p investment trusts. There must be more.
