The price of BVT has been jumping around a bit in the last few days.
I note there was a trade for about 157k of shares at a price of 65 on January 21st. Anyone know what that was about?
Since then, volume has returned to more normal levels and a current price of 72.5 - 75.50.
Has anyone heard anything that might be causing the apparent strengthening of the price since that large block trade?

The end of month net asset value for Dec 2020 was released late yesterday so that's likely to have driven today's increase I would guess.

I think the board try and buy back shares to keep the discount around the 5% level and the latest NAV was 77.6p (it still includes the 3.5p dividend due to be paid in early March).

Not sure about the 65p trade but it looks like someone wanted to get rid of a lot of shares and maybe they had to accept a lower price to do so.
