Mobeus - Parsley Box

#399145

Postby RH1983 » March 26th, 2021, 10:10 am

Morning all,

Mobeus announced on RNS this morning that all four VCTs will be aligned with the upcoming float of Parsley Box on AIM on the 31st Mar.

Official Parsley Box announcement [from RNS on Investegate]

Based on the Placing Price of 200 pence per Ordinary Share, the market capitalisation on Admission will be £83.8 million

· The Company has conditionally raised £5 million (before expenses) pursuant to the Offers and the selling shareholders have conditionally raised approximately £12 million (before expenses) pursuant to the Placing

· The Placing attracted strong support from high quality institutional investors and was over-subscribed

· The Customer Offer represented circa 7.6 per cent. of the Ordinary Shares sold in the Offers and was very well supported. All identified Parsley Box customers who successfully applied received an 100 per cent. allocation

· The Company's net proceeds will be used to accelerate its growth plans primarily through investment in marketing spend with the aim of becoming a household name in a currently underserved market

· On Admission, the Directors together with their connected persons will be interested in approximately 32.1 per cent. of the issued Ordinary Shares

· On Admission, the Company will have 41,914,368 Ordinary Shares in issue and a free float of approximately 45.4 per cent.

· Admission and the commencement of dealings in the Ordinary Shares is expected to take place at 8.00 a.m. on 31 March 2021

No mention to the change in NAV for the four VCTs but looks to be an announcement shortly. Mobeus have had a seriously good run so far in 2021!

Yes it looks promising - all four VCTs have stated in their RNS today

Assuming the placing and admission takes place at the share price indicated, the Company's value of its investment in Parsley Box is anticipated to increase. The Board intends to make a further announcement that will quantify the impact, after the admission has taken place.

They all seem to have sold a third of their stake (bringing £5.8m cash) and kept the rest.

Octopus has bought some too; presumably for its small cap funds or its IHT service, rather than its VCTs.

Yep the RNSs are out this morning confirming the following details:

– The four Mobeus VCTs all sold a third (but also bought a few more in the IPO)
– The return on shares sold was 4x investment cost
– Together the four VCTs still have a 13.97% stake in the business
– Overall ROI to date (i.e. including the stakes still held) is 1.3x cost
– Net proceeds of sale is £5.6m to the four VCTs

Effect on NAVs:

Code: Select all

VCT   NAV before MEAL*    MEAL uplift     %
----------------------------------------------
MIX   71.67               1.67            2.33%
MIG   91.43               1.86            2.03%
MIG4  87.03               1.96            2.25%
IGV   84.75               1.93            2.28%

* but after VINO uplift

Not had a very happy debut: pre-float 200p, opened at 210p and fell to 185p. Better than Deliveroo, but less than impressive.

V short term though and probably not very liquid?
It’s also not particularly high profile.
Give it a while :)
