The two ProVen funds usually alternate these days, although that could well change this year. I am not aware that any formal announcement has yet been made and I have not received any alert of an RNS or from Beringea or the usual intermediaries. What is your source?

TER is usually very reliable, but it would be really odd - and I think a breach of Stock Exchange rules - for a formal fund raising to be announced by an intermediary before there has been a formal RNS (in this case, two, actually) and direct notification to shareholders. As an investor in both the ProVen VCTs, I will definitely have questions for the companies and the manager if this unofficial information proves to be accurate.

Have done for some time. The rumoured (non-prospectus?) raise would look unusually small, at a time when they might be thought to have have less reason to cut back than the MBO houses.
