Well, according to the Revolut website, the service will soon be available to all cardholders. Seeing that Revolut doesn't yet have FSCS protection, 85K for cash & 50K for shares, it will be interesting to see how their 'ring-fencing' works. It's great to have more competition and so far I'm quite impressed with Revolut, particularly currency exchanges, but I'll wait to read the small print and let others do the beta-testing first.

Not that it detracts from your points but both limits are now £85,000 (for losses incurred on a failed outfit). The latter increased to £85,000 'per eligible person, per firm' wef 1 April 2019:
