Adding Shares to HYPTUS

Hi

i'm having trouble beginning to populate HYPTUS with my shares. How do I add a share? When I open the HYPTUS it informs me that macros are disabled so I think that's the problem but when I go to enable macros I can't choose 'options' from the Tools dropdown as it isn't there!... Can someone give me guidance?

HYP Top-up Version: - b-i-1
Operating System: - macOS 10.14 (Mojave)
open office version: - 4.1.5

It is, but you can't change it once you have opened the spreadsheet. You have to set Office to ask you if you want to enable macros at the time you open HYPTUSS.

To set Open Office up so that it does this, just open Office on its own. In 'Tools, Options, Security, Macro Security' set Medium security level. Then you get offered the choice to enable macros when opening the spreadsheet.

I tried opening Office on its own but unfortunately I still can't see an 'Options' choice when I click on the Tools dropdown...

That's how it's set in the Windows version, but apparently it's different for a Mac...

All application settings are accessed through the desktop Preferences menu, not through any menu in the application itself--or so I'm told.

Desktop > Preferences > OpenOffice > ... is equivalent to (app menu) Tools > Options > ... on Windows & Linux

It's sorted now. For the benefit of other Mac users you set the macros level via 'preferences>security>macro security' when Open Office App is opened.
