Is Jiosoft a good alternative to Quicken

#208240

I see from these boards that Moneydance is an alternative to Quicken.
Does anyone have experience of Jiosoft
they say they can import Quicken files, but there is no trial version as far as I can see.

Any feedback from jiosoft users especially welcome.

Although I used to scan for alternative personal finance software from time to time, I've never heard of Jiosoft. And judging by the lack of responses, it seems I'm not alone :)

Looking at the website, it appears reasonably competent, but there's no way I'd fork out £35 for a relatively unknown program which I'd not had the opportunity to try first, especially as I'd have to take it on trust that it could make a good job of importing data from Quicken, Money or whatever.

Whilst the FAQs and blurb give some detail as to it's capabilities, it makes little or no reference to automatic share price updates or setting year end dates for budgeting to name but two things.

And it doesn't seem to have an app, which, having used Moneydance with an android app, I wouldn't be without.
