Investegate email alerts

I am signed up on Investegate for RNS alerts for my holdings. I stopped getting emails after the 22nd July, receiving none on 23rd/24th. I then signed in to Investegate and checked a few of my alerts were still set up correctly. Emails resumed on the 25th (for all holdings, not just the few I checked).

Does anyone know if this was a general outage? Or was it just that they stop automatically if you haven't signed in for a long time?

I received at least one on the 23rd and haven’t signed in or out recently.

I don't think I've missed any lately, though I often find that there may be delays sending the emails. Vodafone, for example, had an announcement timestamped 23Jul19 15:25 on the Investegate site but the email I got was timestamped 24Jul19 17:07

So, just me then by the looks of it. Signing in and resetting a few of the alerts seems to have kicked it back into action.

No, it wasn't just a delay. After emails resumed none of the missing two days of alerts appeared.

Noticed a couple of delays to the alert e-mails last week, but they did turn up later, I think.
Don't think I've missed any but have a funny feeling I may not have seen alert emails for GSK and Experian last week, but since I logged into the alerts page for something else, I saw the updates and read the info and didn't bother that I may or may not have seen the alert emails.
Just had one this morning (F&C, or FRCL or whatever it's called now) for interim results and it was timely: dated at 0700 on the Investegate alerts page, e-mail sent at 0704, and delivered at 0705.
If I get one or two e-mails, I log into the "my alerts" page anyway and see what's happening, so don't know about your point about them stopping if you don't log in for a while.
Haven't seen a general stoppage (yet).
Aam impressed by Investegate and its alerts, and I fear the day it gets taken over by one of the big players, or it starts asking for money....

Delays do happen on rare occasions, but it wasn't that in my case. The missing two days have still not turned up. I can only think it was corruption in my account data that was cleared by changing a few settings.

I got a full compliment of expected alerts this morning, so all seems back to normal now.

I was expecting a couple of results RNSs on 24th June (I remember that ITV was one, for example) and they did not appear in my inbox.

I logged into TLF, and on the HYP-Practical board, there was idpickering with his ever-reliable "here's the RNS" service... So clearly, he got them.

My missing ones then appeared in the late afternoon of that day.

If it's any help in tracking down the problem, I have had 2 e-mail alerts so far today

- Greene King (GNK) - RNS issued at 9:38, e-mail received at 9:42
- Close Brothers (CBG) - RNS issued at 10:59, e-mail received at 11:03

Thanks, GNK isn't on my list of alerts, but now the day has ended I can compare my alerts received with my alternative news source, my DL portfolio.

Seems that, rather unusually, none of my companies had issued any RNS by 11 am today when I looked for my email alerts. I seem to have had all the alerts that subsequently issued by my companies, so Investegate was blameless this time.
