Help please. HYPTUSS v 11.72 error messsage

I have been using this version of HYPTUSS since it came out and have had no problems with it. However, while updating it tonight an error message came up and the update stopped after the first line.
The message read:

Run time error '2147012879(80072ef1)': The operation has been cancelled.

There don't seem to be any other reports of a fault. I do hope someone can fix it.
Many thanks.

Hi magsy12.
Sorry to hear you have problems, but you really need to give me some clues what you are doing to give me a fighting chance to help. When you get the error, which button are you clicking? What is your OS and which version of Excel?

I should also add that there have been 8 updates to HYPTUSS since 11.72, so I would strongly recommend that you update to the current version first to see if that fixes the problem.

You should also check that your share ticker symbols and Company Data Sheet are up-to-date.

Thanks Kiloran.
I haven't updated because everything has been working so well!
The error came up after I had clicked on Get Yahoo prices, which updated fine. Then I clicked on Get Sharecast forecast yields. The first row updated and then the error appeared.
I am on Windows 11. I don't know how to find which version of Excel.
I have been updating this every week since I changed to HYPTUSSv 11.72 and have had no problems.
Thanks for any help.
All the prices updated ok so I presume all the tickers are too. I haven't made any changes to the spreadsheet in recent months.

Thanks. What are the first few tickers? You say the first one updated OK so I suspect there may be an issue with the second one

I strongly suspect that your Company Data Sheet is out of date.
Column A for ticker AV should be /equity/Aviva-12885
I suspect your version has /equity/Aviva

You can get the latest version at http://lemonfoolfinancialsoftware.weebl ... op-up.html

Yes! You are correct. /equity/Aviva
I will change the Data sheet tomorrow. Has it been changed recently because the spreadsheet updated without a problem last Friday.
Many thanks for your help. Hopefully changing the Data sheet will solve the problem.
Thank you.

The data sheet for AV was updated in June, but sometimes Sharecast accepts both the old and new formats. I guess Sharecast recently deleted the old reference.

Sharecast have indeed recently deleted quite a number of old dual-entry URL's, and that 'Operation has been cancelled' error when seen during a Forecast Yield scrape is a good indicator that the underlying Data-Sheet URL for a particular share isn't valid any more, so if anyone else sees a similar HYPTUSS error in the coming weeks then the Data-Sheet row URL (Column A) for the share the yield process fails on, with no yield data returned for it, would be the first place to check for validity.

Cheers,
