HYPTUSS problem with 888 Holdings

I have just added 888 Holdings to the last line on my HYPTUSS v 11.4 running Excel 2007 on Win 10 Pro. The Comany name column on the Portfolio sheet appears as N/A, the ticker appears correctly as 888 but has a green triangle in the top left corner of the cell, which I believe means the cell contains a formula that is different to its neighbour, columns H & I appear correctly. J,K & L appear blank and won't update when I run the DL update yields button giving the runtime error box. All the tickers abbove 888 on my sheet up date correctly. Current Price updates correctly. The Open DL site button works correctly. I have checked the DL Data tab for 888 and that all appears correct.

I can enter the DL data manually. Any Ideas?

The formula isn't working with "888". Changing the EPIC in the data sheets and it picks up the corrct details. Have not time at moment but will dive a bit deeper later. Anyone with VLOOKUP experience who may know the reason?

I just checked and the problem appears to be that column C in the "Digital Look Data Sheet" is formatted as General, so the 888 in cell C4 is being interpreted as a number, which screws up the VLOOKUP

Solutions are:
  1. Change Cell C4 from 888 to '888 ... this will make the cell appear as text
    or
  2. Select column C in the "Digital Look Data Sheet", right-click and format as text. Then overtype Cell C4 with 888 to force it to text

We'll look for a cleaner solution for future releases, either by adding this issue to our checklist to ensure that column C is text when published, or by modifying the VLOOKUP

Thanks for the rapid response and solution. 1) works for me. I changed the ticker in the Digital Look data sheet to'888 and everything works fine. Spreadsheets now all nice and tidy, ready for Monday morning.
