Note The MS Money quotes facility from Gaiersoft has hit another issue due to changes by Microsoft in their pricing service...

Initially looked terminal but now looks like it should be back working soon...

There is a download available. 2.4.0.1. Seems to fix it - it looks like it requires symbol map to fix pounds / pence. I've made a donation for the update.

I implemented the symbol map (-m option) and thats got it working in 2.4.0.1. Its also significantly quicker across my 47 holdings which is a bonus.
Also made a donation.

I tried the -m option but still got the quotes as 100 times their real value. How did you use the -m option?

to use the -m option I followed these instructions from the Gaier Software website...

https://gaiersoftware.com/Money/DetailsAndHelp

"To use, you’ll need to manually modify the SymbolMap.csv file. Basically for any security that MSN Money is reporting the incorrect currency, you’ll want to “override” the currency via the SymbolMap.csv file. For example, if MSN Money is returning the currency for RDSB as GBP (which is incorrect), you’ll want to tell my program to actually interpret the prices as GBX. You an do this via the extra column in the SymbolMap.csv file (add “,GBX”).
RDSB,151.1.RDSB.LON,GBX "

Briefly - when using -m the software looks for a file called symbolmap.csv in the same directory as the executable. If it cant find it, it creates it, listing your securities. Then you need to manually edit the file - if in Excel etc then in the third column against each row put GBX and save as a CSV again. If in Notepad then append each row with ",GBX" - without the quote marks. Once saved and MoneyQuotes is re-run the prices come in the correct format. Note: for Vanguard funds the GBX addition was not required so removed it for those rows.

read his instructions on how to use it.

But the 100x problem (stocks quoted in pence rather than pounds) is now fixed with another update.

Hi - need some help with 100 times pricing issue. Been successfully using FT.com to create CSV file and updating prices. GBP and GBX problem arose.Downloaded latest version of Money Quotes (v5) but problem still persists. Should i be doing anything else to make it work correctly? Thanks
