Train/tube drivers are grossly overpaid. They don't even have to steer
Computer-based training is worthless, and is just a box ticking legal exercise for employers

The Gaia Principle holds that The EARTH is a living organism capable of healing itself. The base reason for climate change is too many people and if we don't sort this out for ourselves, Gaia will do it for us. COVID is Gaia's warning shot to us across the bows.

Scrap any benefits for couples with more than 2 children and sterilise any people who parent 3. There are 3 times as many people on the planet than when I was born. If you're serious about tackling climate change, don't faff around with taxing emissions, tackle the problem at the source.

The Uk has an adoration of the NHS worthy of North Korea and Kim Jong Un. It's a second rate, chaotic service that is not fit for purpose.

Chubby middle-aged posh boys who catch something due to their own stupidity should be left to deal with it on their own.

Balls to two kids. We need to get the R (reproductive) rate below 1
Never, ever support appeals to keep people alive (e.g. "band aid", etc) unless there's an accompanying and credible programme to keep their birth rate down.
In emergency, a quid pro quo: the cost of famine relief, or asylum, or of benefits for more than a year in a lifetime, is sterilisation.

On-street parking in residential areas should be restricted to visitors only. Cars owned by residents should only be parked on private land. Owners that can't afford a drive or garage have a lifestyle that is incompatible with car ownership. We don't tolerate a spare wardrobe while not in use to be stored in the street, neither should a car.

Good point. And once the obesity epidemic breaches 50% of the population (if it hasn't already), they become the new 'normal' and it's the thin ones who are the outliers.

Aspirational, entrepreneurial and hard-working people in developing nations totally deserve the jobs and lifestyle gains at the expense of lazy self-entitled people in developed nations.

Or developing the theme, did you hear about the newest type of immigrant, dubbed "Schrödinger's immigrant"?
They come over here, taking all our jobs and claiming all our benefits.

Savings accounts with balances lower than the savings guarantee £85000 take no investment risk and therefore do not merit an investment return. Not only should a saver expect no interest, but a saver should pay for the service of keeping their money safe.

Nothing controversial (i.e. true, for example - ****** * ** ** * ****** **, which is the unfortunate truth) will appear on this pointless thread.
