I spent some time over the weekend running through the field of about 80.
Some of these horses may not run but they are all good prices at the moment and the list could serve as a starter schedule .

Re: Grand National early birds....
Hi Nimnarb
Seeyouatmidnight is entered at Kelso on Sunday
It is also entered at Cheltenham next week.
I suspect it will run on Sunday only and if it gives a good account of itself, might end up one of the favourites.
Its 33/1 generally at the moment.
Barring a disaster those odds are going to tumble.
I left it out of my original calculations because of its last run- however putting that aside it does tick all of the boxes and I have added it and actually had a £5 ew at 33/1 because it is very good value at the moment.
It also carries a really light weight in the National where it will be heavy this year which will nash all the ohrses over 10-13
We'll discuss further after Sunday

Re: Grand National early birds....
Seeyouatmidnight had a wind op in November 2017 - I would not back this nag antepost until it is certain to run. Even then unless it get a run before this will mean it has been of course for over 1 year by the time of the GN.
It has no declarations to run in the next 5 days.

Re: Grand National early birds....
Seeyouatmidnight was down to run today at Kelso but the meeting is off.
The connections have pulled his from Cheltenham and his next entered race is the National itself.
I expect them to slip a prep race in before then but without a run today it remains on the 'possible' list and no higher.
Interesting I am not the only fan of Pipe's Le vieux lion rouge'.
It seems to be his only entry so barring a disaster will run.
Has the right profile too.
Will start a Cheltenham thread tomorrow unless anyone beats me to it.
