I have a clean driving licence, clean bank cards, clean membership cards from various organisations (all plastic) plus some sorry paper and cardboard membership cards from more environmentally aware organisations. The Clydesdale fabric bank notes are drying out on the radiator. As you may have guessed, my wallet was thoroughly processed by the washing machine - I left it in my trouser pocket, and (at my request) my wife threw it in the washing machine. She has threatened to call in at the local Care Home to see if they have a spare room for me. I should possibly add that I forgot (or ignored) mother's day.
Do I hear any words of comfort from the Snug?
