I'm liking VAR so far, where the ref can look at replays to check important decisions. Seems to be working well, but it's a bit strange that presumably all the grounds have giant TV screens, but the ref trots off to look at a little TV by the pitch.

On iOS you long press the letter then a menu of accents appear, and (without lifting the finger from the screen, mind) slide across to select the appropriate one (there are millions of the bleeders for an ‘e’) then lift the finger. Can’t remember the drill for Android but could well be similar.

It was great to see Mexico stick one on Germany, who didn't behave very sport manly on the pitch toward the end of the match. Sore losers.
