Brexit

A virtual pub for off topic, light hearted pub related banter and discussion. No trainers

....how's it going for you?

I'm absolutely sick to the back teeth of all this claptrap. Day after day & night after night we get it. It's endless.

Brexit = meh. I'm a hipster and therefore beard maintenance is my only concern.

I have a EU passport so watching the UK getting it's panties in a bunch over this is really quite entertaining. Of course, once we (inevitably) start knocking seven bells out of each other again, we'll be straight on the phone looking for a hand in sorting ourselves out.

I'm certified mental and I love all this politics stuff. All the to-ing and fro-ing really makes me wish it would last forever.

Wasn't it about a year ago, we had an election that confirmed people were fed up with it?

(Why would more than a tiny loony fringe have voted Corbyn's Labour if the Tories had presented even a remotely sane and acceptable party? Never thought I would, but for the first time in my life I voted Labour as the lesser of two huge evils).

"None of the above" ought to be available.

I just wish that we had cast Europe adrift immediately after the referendum, as the EC would have quickly come to their senses and negotiations on a trade deal would probably have been concluded by now.

On another forum I frequent that would be called the "Andyw" option. That's a very long running in joke, but some here may recognize it means.

I do agree with you (isn't hindsight great) and am with the majority on Snorvey's poll.

Every bloody night, just before the ten o'clock news:

"Let's see, tickets, passports, tranquillisers, £350 million a week for the NHS. Now, did I remember to pack the children's jobs?"

"The next train will be the 6.09, calling at Reading, Swindon, Darkness, Foggy Ditch, and terminating at Despair."

"D'yer want a kick in the guts with that?"

"Can I have three packets of whatever Boris is on?"
