Worldcup

I find myself not giving a stuff about this year. 20 years ago I was very interested, watched many a match. Last time round I watched the England games, if they were on when I was available. This time, not even watched any highlights.

Why have I become so disinterested?

Has anyone else stopped caring?

Funnily enough, I was just thinking the opposite. This World Cup has invigorated my love of the game.

Croatia just beat Argentina 3-0. If that isn't a great result for the neutral/don't really care brigade, then I don't know what is.

It was reported earlier this week that 99.6% of the Icelandic population watched their opening game. 99.8% of their population watched them beat England two years ago. So I guess you're right - audiences are going down.

The 4th ODI at the Riverside has just been won by England, making it 4-0 so far. Far more relaxing.

I'd love to watch that, but blown if I'm paying for Sky. So listened on the Radio instead. With an Aussie mate - that made it much more entertaining :D
