Minor problem for Me and Mrs Bminusrob. We are in Germany on holiday, in our South Korean car. Today, we are making a dash for the (Austrian) border. If you don't hear from me again, think of us as a casualty of the World Cup.

I wouldn't worry about it. The border guards seem to have a tendency to wander off, leaving the border line exposed, thereby allowing South Koreans (in particular South Koreans owned by Brits) free passage to their goal.
