It's been happening for decades. I remember over 40 years ago being told by someone in in the music industry, "Where there's a hit there's a writ!" (It must have been at least 20 years ago, as that's when writs were abolished - somehow "Where there's a hit there's a Claim Form" doesn't have the same ring to it!)
