I remember a few years ago when these isolated vocal tracks became available on certain music message boards .
My favourite was Superstition by Stevie Wonder , vocal here :

You also got all the isolated instrument tracks , drum track here :
https://youtu.be/eZqa1XIgsfk

Can't remember how many individual tracks there were but if you had some music software you could make your own mixes .
This guy demonstrates how many parts it took to get the clavichord sound .

Nope, this is the most stunning vocal ever :)
This one track is an example; the album as a whole is a thing of vocal/engineering/recording wonder...

'Visions' - Antonio Forcione and Sabina Sciubba [5mins 52secs]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64VsVBG ... Y9b-qZYc_9

And if it sounds as dazzling as this, as it does for me through my basic PC, imagine what it's like through a proper hi-fi, or even a 'Bentley' level hi-fi [this was released on the Naim music lable, the same NAIM that does in-car audio for Bentley amongst other things, as well as focusing on domestic hi-fi for most of their history... In fact the owner of NAIM set up the lable so he could produce recordings of the highest quality he believed did not exist, and that his hifi's merited... he was not wrong, they're breath-taking]

A clear example, for me, that we all have very different tastes. Sorry DE, I just found that tedious.

Fair enough, I appreciate something between jazz and er... almost modern classical wld not be to everyone's tastes; but I am focusing solely on her dazzling voice. It's not the kind of music I'm usually into either FWIW, but I make an exception for that album.

Here's another example, be clear, this is solely about vocal performance than whether you happen to like the genre:

'PELLEK's 4 OCTAVE VOCAL RANGE (d2-c6)'

This is essentially a technical vocal demo, rather than a song - done in a Viking/metal style :) [1Min49Sec]
[ps. He's Norwegian, a professional session musician]
