Greetings from my Man Cave here in North Yorkshire.
There wasn't one when we moved here three years ago but there was a large double garage at the back of the house that we made to a two thirds garage and built a tiny little office in it. And this is my little den from where I post this evening.
Its a tiny little room but everything to me.
Here I write my pleadings, statements and skeleton arguments for work.
I write my diaries.
I write my novels.
There's even a doggy bed for our black lab 'Milo' who sleeps on my left as I post this.
I have a small bottle of Jd to one side.
And a small pouch of tobacco with half a packet of Black Bull Brand papers.
The house is locked up for the night.
Master B is on a stag do on Lake Come somewhere.
Miss B is somewhere in Chinatown.
I'm listening to this...

Cheers my friends.
I know these things can change and very quickly too but this evening, life is good.
Does anyone else have a 'Man Cave' ?
It's alright isn't it?

Re: Man Cave.....
Not really a man cave, just a room that I use as my office. I've got a massive desk and a really good chair both bought second hand but in really good condition. A 27" monitor, desktop computer, Humax, TV, filing cabinet and bookshelves. All the things I need really.
My wife is welcome anytime but she uses the lounge normally. We've spent most of our 37 years marriage together, working and leisure time but we both need a bit of separation now we are retired. I spend most of my down time in here, on line or doing the inevitable paper work which life involves.
This evolved when I got into investing in shares. Doing research was ok but my wife would make some comment or start a conversation and I'd lose my concentration, I'd end up going over the same thing several times. This solution evolved.
So it's a sort of man cave but not quite.
