Everyone love's 'em right?
I'm in the process of booking one. I need it for one hour min, two hours max.
How much do you think?
Answer below
£500 - £600
I'm not too surprised to be honest. And if he has it gleaming, with conductor and REAL tickets as promised, it might be worth it.

Re: Routemasters
Saw this one outside the local crem a couple of months ago:

Specially fitted out for the purpose, with the guest of honour downstairs of course. £200 for six hours. Bargain. Not much use for weddings and bar mitzhvahs, though.

Me neither, you probably said the magic words "wedding" and added £100 to the price
I was in the ball park, as annually I hire modern double deckers for the day and they're about £450-500. They did actually send us a routemaster one year, lovely old thing, but the hungover bloke sat sideways near the open platform watching the M25 whoosh past at 55mph didn't enjoy the journey much.

Can't you make do with a hotel room?

Re: Routemasters
Just like that, yes. Although I hope the paintwork is a little better on mine. They need to be gleaming to really appreciate them.
After getting half a dozen quotes, I managed to get one personalized on the outside and decorated inside for £523, so I'm happy with that.
