Very interesting. I particularly liked the canal scene.

I wonder what sort of size the original paintings are. I find this information is so often missing from reproductions of art, so that when the real thing is viewed it comes as as shock, much bigger or smaller than I imagined.

Damn, thought you meant something historic. Has the East End changed so much those pics are no longer current?
