I vote for BJ and Raab. Raab for his politics and BJ for his charisma + I totally loved the concept of The Garden Bridge and was disappointed when it didn't happen.

Yeah, I want to vote for Bojo because he is a winner and can deliver Brexit.

But Rory is a superior human being.

Electing a PM is demanding. I have not made up my mind yet.

Can you give an example of a political leader who didn't have a huge ego?

Boris is a dead cert? This one's just in from the FT's comments section:
Oh well, at least Theresa May can look forward to the moment when she ceases to be the UK's worst ever Prime Minister.

Who the hell is Boris?

And why am I the only one sent to hell

I've a cracking post I've been working on all week - how the aerodynamics of a shuttlecock changes if one of the feathers is tampered with. The world of sport will never be the same.

I will. I was rather hoping that we could bring the farcical charade that is disguising politics to a succesful close. Indeed Laurel and Hardy most likely would do a better job.

Who are your two preferred final candidates?

Between the Pied Piper of Hamelin (plus rats) and Hannibal Lecter - spoilt for choice

Empty Lectern looking good tonight. Didn't say anything unrealistic on Brexit, no gaffes. Polished veneer, maybe a bit wooden, but I reckon Empty Lectern wood teak back control.

I read that and wondered if you shouldn't've written ... teak back light.

Which led me to speculate on what might shine out of the back side of Empty Lectern.

The trouble is with you people is you can't see the wood for the trees.

The big old oak doesn't have anything to prove (just wants to get on with the job).

Perhaps a rehearsal for how he will handle PM's questions ;)

Given Corbyn's total inability to think on his feet during PQT, I doubt anyone would notice the difference. Losing a debate to a piece of wood isn't a good look.

I'd like Javid to win, bit of an outsider I know, but it'll upset a relative of mine that's your basic racist.
