I have never ventured into the Snug before as I was not sure what people did in here or what the etiquette was but as so many people have been saying how much they'd miss it I thought I'd look in. Bit early for a lunchtime pint but what the hell. Still no idea really what goes on in here so I'll just lurk in the corner for now and hopefully find out.

Still no idea really what goes on in here

Chatter about almost anything, though the heavy politics used to decamp to LOST, etc.

There's a jukebox, powered mainly by Youtube, where people will occasionally play their favourites, but it is better than most pub jukeboxes in that you don't have to listen, if you don't want to.

Anyway, I'm going to have a Broadside and drop my coins in the honesty box.

Seems to be a front moving east. We are due a lot of cold rain down here. Possibility of snow on Shropshire hills though
