S'alright, contactless will be fine sir.

Another reason I limit the use of debit cards and contactless in particular.
How long before these card readers are available on Ebay and the software hacked?

Well it's been around for over a decade with (as far as I can see) no major issue with fraud, so seems to be at least as secure as other bank payment methods.

I'm wary where I wave or use my cards.

Maybe it is, but it's also a personal thing, and I have rather strict policies on privacy and data protection.

It might not be major fraud but it's very easy to steal money with contactless cards. My father-in-law's card was stolen as he lay dying in hospital and it wasn't discovered until the next statement was received. Lots of ~£20 purchases all around town. All repaid by the bank now so the cost socialised to all of us customers and shareholders.

Knock knock!

Who's there?

"Me ... jus me"

Earlier today I fell. And before I hit the concrete someone caught me. Lucky them. How fortunate they were to rescue me. All their good luck. Of course I didn't need to be saved. I was in complete control.

Knock knock ! ... who's there ... "Me"
