What authority in their right mind would set that sort of subject for any child?

Re: Planning ahead!
Were they really asked to "plan their own funeral'?
Or to "consider" a funeral for an exercise?
Thanks anyway for the post: I think I might have fired enough neurons to realise I'm not a Daily Mail reader!
Meanwhile... I'm literally (taking time out from) organising a funeral and the live-stream thereof
Any more lagavulin behind the bar?

Re: Planning ahead!
Funerals were part and parcel of normal life when I was young. As children we always went to see the bodies of our relatives and relatives of friends when they were in their coffins. It's just the way it was, we soon realised that there was nothing to be frightened of. Death is the one thing we'll all have in common so why not discuss it. Maybe the teacher was just fed up to the back teeth with the little darlings and decided to give them something to keep their minds occupied, after all a lot of kids nowadays are obsessed with me, me, me so maybe they should get their wishes out there on the net.
