I think he commanded a record transfer fee when he transferred to Manchester Utd for (I think) £45000. How times have changed.

I saw him play once, for Man.U., still have the programme.

Sheffield Wednesday 3 ( Young G. 3 ) v Manchester United 1 ( Charlton R ) :D
