What has gone wrong with the BBC News at One?
Have just listened to it and there were eleven distinct news items.
Just when I was getting used to just two or three items and lots of opinions from people who had been dragged in from the street or from some obscure cellar lab.

IMO it has become very 'thin'. Like everything now it seems very populist and touchy-feely, particularly in its latter half. I usually turn it off at the half way point nowadays and listen to the News at One on R4.
