Passport office

#27606

Postby Corvid » January 30th, 2017, 7:31 pm

I admit I can be a tad grumpy every now and again. One of the things I often grump about is government bureaucracy. I applied for my replacement passport online last Sunday and posted my old one to them on the Monday.

My new one arrived today. Well done Passport office. A replacement passport in a week. Great service, credit where credit is due. No grump from me.

Corvid.

Said something very similar last time I renewed. Mind you, that was making it a stark contrast to another branch of the state messing me about.

I know. Bloody infuriating, isn't it? And my driving licence renewal came through in three days, and they managed to grab the latest picture of my bonce from my passport records. Not a glitch anywhere. Disgusting.

Me too - last year my passport was back within two weeks, so I then did my DL photocard and the new one dropped through the door before I had logged the computer off!

Hmmm, is it really bitter or is it, to quote the Snug's descriptive mandate, "light-hearted"? Intended as whimsical, anyway. Apols if that wasn't clear.

Sorry BJ, I left off the smiley :)

My response was meant to be a light-hearted response to your clearly whimsical post.

Are people taking me too seriously, is the the moderator hat? :?

Whatever it is, it's affected your speech. Could the the hat be too tight?
