My Favourite Fool...
... is undoubtedly Clitheroekid, whose always-detailed advice, pro bono RL work for needy Fools and pointers to fascinating legal judgments have impressed and entertained me for (I'm guessing, I can't check) nigh on 20 years.
So imagine my delight to find him (and Lemon Fool) name-checked in The Times today!
This is the article (p38 in the paper version), but it's behind the paywall so I hope you'll be able to get to it:

Re: My Favourite Fool...
I've long suspected that The Times' Alistair Osborne frequents this site.

Not being a Times reader, I'm not familiar with him. Without naming names, do his views and style seem reminiscent of some familiar Fool?

The quote is taken from this post of CK's over at Curiosity Corner:
viewtopic.php?p=57380#p57380
I think I may have seen that quote used before, possible even at The Times.
Much of Whittaker's activities were discussed in detail way back at TMF at A fool and His Money (noting the lower case f in fool).
Quoting CK here in the hope he gets an alert and doesn't miss this thread but I'm fairly certain he's aware of the article:

I've never heard of him and The Times is not what it was (despite lockdown readership: also more women read it than men) but if your suspicion were proved correct then it would be a clever strategy to frequent this site yet hide behind the paywall of The Thunderer to minimise being found out.

Thanks - I wasn't aware of either the article or this thread. And thanks also to RandomWords for his kind comments.
But the article just demonstrates how totally useless the FCA are. These appalling scams carry on for years, with people being screwed for hundreds of millions of quid And when the horse has not only bolted, but is sitting on a beach in Barbados enjoying a cocktail or two, the FCA will be having a meeting to decide whether future stable doors should have two hinges or three.

My hunch was wrong then. I saw you asking about postings screenshots and went down the wrong track. Having now seen your screenshot, I see it concerned matters of far less importance (the apparent 90%+ “collapse” after hours re RDSB - not).
