Moderator Message:
Can I remind people that this is the Snug and is a place for "light hearted pub related banter and discussion".I have just moved three topics to the Current Affairs and News board. While some topics may start light hearted they can quickly turn to politics and argument so please help us to avoid that.

Dunno where you are, but here in the Northern Hemisphere it's getting very rapidly darker. A challenging time to "keep it light".

A very good example of exactly the sort of post that fits in here.

Thank you

Ah, but now we are past the autumn equinox, it's getting darker less rapidly. :)

You just wait. Last Sunday in October gets darker most rapidly of all, and with free jetlag thrown in.

Now I'm confused. Is this a snug or an observatory

I know ... I'll finish my shandy :)

I hope this isn't an example of racial discrimination by the Snug's proprietors :o
