" The Bavarian Tiger".

duckduckgo is your friend:
https://www.bavariantigers.com/
60th anniversary of 74 squadron German Air Force, "the [Bavarian ] Tigers",
It could have been 31 Squadron Belgian Airforce , The [Belgian] Tigers
31 Squadron RAF ,formed in 1915, served on the North West Frontier and thus perhaps more entitled entitled to call themselves "Tigers" but were actually the "GoldStars"

They were the only RAF Squadron to have fought during the first and second world wars in Afghanisatan, the third Anglo Afghan war and the first and second Gulf Wars and the 'pacification' of Afghanistan.
They celebrated 35 years of the Tornado aircraft by giving it a special paint scheme.

In 2023 they will re-equip with Predators, to be called 'Protectors@ in RAF service......unless BoJo scraps the plans as a Covid/Carrie dividend.

I
31 Squadron RAF ,formed in 1915, served on the North West Frontier and thus perhaps more entitled entitled to call themselves "Tigers" but were actually the "GoldStars"

That said, the RAF 'Tiger " squadron was 74, active on the Western Front in 1918
74 was the UK representative of the "NATO Tigers Association" , Nato Squadrons with a Tiger motif

The navy get in on the act with 814 squadron,"the Flying Tigers"
