Gift ideas for Father's Day
Although I suspect that the large majority of Snuggers are nore likely to be recipients than donors you might like to forward this link to your devoted offspring in case they're struggling to come up with something - https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/gifts-f ... Y28udWs%3D

Well at least its original - clearly neither of us have heard of such a device. But think of the fun you could have with it - spooking the opposition at a critical juncture with the levitating action.

I think it's a very specific use of the word "levitating" to mean see though/glass/crystal... that kind of thing
Which is certainly niche, but I will henceforth claim to have "levitating whisky tumblers" (which would otherwise be two-thirds innaccurate as I've never knocked one over)

Not a use I have ever come across, nor can I find reference to that sense of meaning anywhere.

It was from looking at the listed lot - they appear to just give the illusion of floating due to transparency
If they do actually hover I'm putting it on my Xmas list

Re: Gift ideas for Father's Day
I recall one year that my Dad bought a small gift for Mum for her birthday.
It was a small ring case holder.
On the front it said "For someone who has everything"
Inside ... trust Dad ... "nipple warmers"

I remember my mum getting really excited opening her Xmas present when she saw a wheel; she exclaimed her delight at a hostess trolley
...it was, however, an exercise bike
A hostess trolley arrived a few weeks later

Brilliant. There’s actually some really nice stuff there if money is no object.
What I cannot understand though, is £300 for a Grateful Dead t-shirt.
Can you not just take that image and print it on a t-shirt yourself for a tenner?

Buy the GQ or Esquire magazine and look at the clothes advertised or worn by the guests - with prices attached. Completely crazy!
Steve
PS I used to do a lot of iron-on transfers onto teeshirts when the kids were young. Brilliant!
