1. World war III has got off to a very poor start
2. Boris Johnson has continued to try for position of blathering idiot of the year again. Only just pipped by Nicola
3. Inflation has taken off again and looks likely to ensure I can't retire, ever!
4. Rachel Reeves looks fantastic in red.

On a more somber, indeed sad note, Gengulphus died just after Christmas.

The grand- daughters were at the beach yesterday. We will be dropping in to see them soon - and I'll check out to see if the grand-dog finds the new bridge more to its satisfaction.
