The Traitors

Has anyone been unfortunate enough to catch any of this BBC Series? Is this what I am paying my license fee for? This awful excuse of a third rate so called “reality” programme?

I expected better from the British Broadcasting Corporation

I happened to catch a bit of it and it appears to be something to do with a bunch of losers trying to find out who the traitors are, and therefore trouser a sack of money.

It is the worst kind of pandering to the moronic populace: opium for the masses? More like chicken nuggets for the masses.

Absolutely dreadful.

I love it.

Erm, can you be a "traitor" in the abstract? Surely to become a traitor, you need to start with loyalty to something - a person or a cause - then betray it?

[edit] OK, yes, the term also gets used for people who refuse to support a cause to which someone wants to co-opt them. Like ones country, right or wrong, against a real or imagined enemy. What I meant was - all the BBC's publicity kind-of sounds like a traitor without a cause. Which seems akin to simplistic notions like being inherently good or evil.

Well Harry won last night - clearly he is wasted in the Army and should join the Conservative Party immediately.

Not that Harry? Hasn't he made a big enough fool of himself already?
