A heartwarming story for all those awaiting NHS operations that don't have £15k to go private.

Re: 6 legged dog.
You have to wonder how much inbreeding the dog breeders in Wales have been doing to keep up with the pandemic demand to end up with a 6 legged dog?
My vote would be to put it down and use the £15k to save many many more healthy dogs from an early death.

Surely these things crop up from time to time. They are caused by spontaneous genetic abnormalities, and I am not sure they can be attributed to inbreeding. I have seen plenty of pictures of two headed or 6 legged cows from India, where of course they reach the headlines because they are considered holy. A few years back, there were pictures of a 4 legged girl, which of course really caused a stir because the devout argued she must be left in that condition. I'm not sure what happened to her in the end.

I was born with 11 fingers. It is not that rare - it even has a name - polydactl.
Not knowingly inbred

The extraneous digit was a bonus pinky finger. It was removed during my first week and I have the scar to prove it. I sometimes think that it would come in handy if I still had it. But would chicks dig it?
