Does anyone remember those humous estate agency AGM Chairman's Address' ?

He and his listed company have probably long since disappeared, but I can't, for the life of me, remember who he, or his company was. I recall that he was refreshingly honest, telling it how it was, and being quite rude when it was deserved.
I may have misremembered, but I'm sure they were statements made at AGMs, some 20 years or so, ago.

Thanks for the laugh, dragnips - I recall reading about him - but Brooks died in 1971 and these AGMs were about 20 years ago
