Re: The Lemonfool my pic of the day thread
One of my favourite places is the Kent estuary near Arnside, where the River Kent empties into Morecambe Bay.
It's an area that's often - thankfully - overlooked by people racing up the M6 to the Lakes, but the scenery, the wildlife and the tranquility make it a perfect refuge from modern life.
This is one of many sunset pix I've taken there over the years:

A recent dive around the Farne Islands, had this critter chewing my fins, camera and anything dangling!

Och, I can beat that....
Suilven and Stac Pollaidh in the last few moments of daylight. Top-left corner of Scotland, a truly wondrous area

Ah, if only....
But I did have a Caol Isla in my hand and my mind was there.
Doesn't Scotland have some wonderful scenery?

Scott, if you had just looked to your left, you'd have seen me taking this picture:
And don't step back, it's a long way down on the other side:
And.... why would someone want to build a stone wall over Suilven, 700m up:
A magic mountain. Spent two weeks reroofing Suileag bothy near Suilven. Here's my wee tent:

Great pictures people. Some amazing countryside in the UK. One more sunset pic from me and I am done. Thanks for letting me play.
Indian Shores again, but this time with more clouds which actually make more color.

My daughter goes places, but dresses funny. I am digging the jacket, but not sure about the head gear.
