So from the other side of the world (potentially) they've stolen $64M worth of something that is untrackable and instantly tradeable. That has to be as close to the perfect crime as the world has yet seen.
And no compensation for the losers. Another reason not to touch bitcoin with a bargepole.

Much more likely to be an inside job. Though "inside" no longer implies anything about geography.
Bitcoin is obviously a bubble. But if you look at precedents, it could have thousands of years to run.
