I agree that's the case in modern stock markets, which why I found it surprising that someone might look to use data from the 1900's to try and suggest otherwise...

As today's youth are less inclined to invest in stocks, preferring the likes of P2P, VC, BC, CF ...etc. instead, all measures are subjective.
(for the WTF'ers ... peer to peer, venture capital, bitcoin, crowdfunding)
