This post is really in response to the "Long shot - are there any good twitter accounts for HYP?" question posted on the practical board, but after writing it, it struck me that it might be better to post it here instead.

My friend Pete, a.k.a WheelieDealer is a very prolific Twitter user, and his handle is @wheeliedealer. He runs a few portfolios, one of which, his "Income Portfolio" is a HYP in all but name. He also has his own website on which he blogs quite regularly. Towards the end of last year he wrote a series of blogs about his income portfolio and his approach to it, which HYPers might find interesting.
Here is a link to the final part, which contains links to all of the earlier ones:

Re: A Friend's High Yield Strategy
Thanks for that. It is fairly basic but good stuff nevertheless, and is the sort of thing that a young(ish) or less experienced investor would find very helpful.

I'm sure he does and most likely they are entertaining but I don't think he's ever been a high yield chaser.
Is this pyad https://twitter.com/StephenBland? No Tweets.

Re: A Friend's High Yield Strategy
Could be, but it's hardly a unique name, so could be any other Stephen Bland.
You're right about Paul, I didn't notice we were still on one of the HY boards, as GS moved us I thought we'd moved somewhere other than that!
Thinking about it, HY strategy doesn't really lend itself to Twitter, does it? It'd be hour after hour of 'nothing to see here, have a cup of tea', and then maybe once a year a review and a download of all available yields plus the odd bit of commentary on the (hopefully rare) corporate actions.

Yup, I was kiddin' as I doubt pyad would bother to set up an account but not Tweet.
Mind you, I did set up an account and tweeted once only in a closed group. I think it's the one where we talk about the M**s, Unilever and HYP.
