NEX GROUP PLC >> Nasdaq CDI CME group

I've not seen anyone posting about this, but maybe I'm missing something.

I held some NEX which was bought by CME

CME Group Inc. is an American financial market company operating an options and futures exchange. It owns and operates large derivatives and futures exchanges in Chicago, New York City, and exchange facilities in London, using online trading platforms.

Expected Effective date: 2nd November 2018
Terms: GBP5.00 in cash and 0.0444 New CME shares
Expected Pay date: 9th November 2018

NEX Group plc has entered into a Scheme of Arrangement with CME Group plc, with an expected effective date of the 2nd November 2018.

Under the terms of the Scheme, holders will be issued with GBP5.00 in cash and 0.0444 New CME shares in exchange for each NEX Group plc share held.

Please be aware that as the new shares are listed on the NASDAQ holders will as a result of this be issued with CDI’s in CME Group plc.

Since I had 333 shares in NEX, I get 14.65 shares in CME, so rounded down that is 14. The 333 becomes £1665 in cash. The 0.65 is 0.65 x $186 so £92. So cash up £1665 + £92 = £1757. And 14 shares of CME at $186 = $2604 = £2000. For an initial outlay of £3000 it looks like £3757 plus any dividends over the last few years.

Am I missing anything ?

Anybody else with these ? What are your thoughts ? Hold, sell ?

regards, dspp

I'm in the same boat. I had 710 shares in NEX, but I'm pretty Dorisian about these things and will probably just leave my resulting DSE shares be.
