I tried to search for views and comments on BT, but this site's search facility wouldn't accept BT or BT.A as valid criteria
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: bt.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards."
Any views on BT.A at around £2 and looking ahead over a few years?

BT is basically a pension scheme with a telecoms company bolted on the side. To have a view of it as an investment you really need to have a view on the outlook for the pension scheme going forward. If you believe the huge deficit will be eroded away by rising bond yields then it may make some sense as the share price should respond and the dividend will look more secure. All I would say is, why bother?
All the best, Si

There is quite a lot of discussion on HYP Practical, see viewtopic.php?p=59225#p59225
It was an old thread, so you have to go some way down page 2 to find the start of the latest discussion.
viewtopic.php?p=137974#p137974 is a thread which discusses the latest results.
